Huma QureshiHuma
Qureshi has been taking it a little easy when it comes to signing films
because unlike her contemporaries, she doesn't believe in churning four
films a year.
But
even though she is a little down, she is most certainly not out. If all
goes well, Huma will be seen playing the lead role in Gurinder Chadha's
next, titled 'The Viceroy House'.
For
those who came in late, Gurinder Chadha is a name to reckon with in the
west. After directing films like Bend It Like Beckham, Bride &
Prejudice and Mistress of Spices based on English backgrounds, Gurinder
Chadha is now all set to make another English film based on Indian
characters.
The
Viceroy House is a period love story set in India in the 1940s and has
the lovely actress Huma Qureshi in the lead and the film is scheduled to
go on floors this month.
