Jackie-Arjun: B-Town’s new ‘good friends’?

  • Jackie-Arjun Yogen Shah
Arjun Kapoor appears to have got over his break-up with Sonakshi Sinha rather soon. Now the actor has been bonding with another actress — Jacqueline Fernandez. And this friendship seems to be getting closer by the day. Jacqueline has convinced the actor to join the studio where she traines for Pilates. They even share the same trainer Namrata Purohit.
Fit friends
Says a source, “Jacqueline and Arjun have been bonding a lot since they returned from IIFA. Both are single, eligible and fun-loving. Few know that Jacqueline, who is quite the fan of Pilates, convinced Arjun to try it. He has been training with Namrata for a over a month now. Jacqueline is friendly with Arjun’s sister Anshula. All three of them came back together from the IIFA awards held in Malaysia this year.”
Inseparable at IIFA
According to the source, “While both Arjun and Jackie have met earlier at B-Town events (she’s friends with his cousin Sonam Kapoor), they really connected in Malaysia. Arjun and Jackie both performed at the event and had met prior to the awards night during rehearsals. Since then they became quite inseparable.”
“At the first press conference, Arjun made it a point to come and stand next to the actress. During the next few days, they were seen living it up in Malaysia every night. They even came together on the awards night but split up at the red carpet with Jackie making a demure entry before Arjun,” the source continues.
Party animals
Jacqueline was part of the small  gathering at Arjun’s 30th birthday bash in Mumbai on June 26 at the Trident Hotel along with Sonam. In fact, onlookers say that apart from the fact that the actress played the hostess bit to the hilt. During the party, the birthday boy and the actress stayed close to each other most of the evening. Jackie, even made and posted a special birthday wish for him with the Dhawan brothers, Varun and Rohit Dhawan.
The couple are apparently trying to keep their blossoming friendship under wraps and away from prying eyes at the moment. Time will tell whether this friendship blossoms into something more.

Ohkay so, there used to be a time when all our dramas used to be so different & the viewers used to get a lot of variety in terms of stories & the plots but since the last couple of years, all I see is a monopoly of monotony in our dramas. It seems as if the market has been saturated; the writers have completely run out of ideas & the channels are playing it safe as it is so obvious that they want to stick to very limited subjects which they believe with earn them ratings.
While assessing the dramas that I have seen in these last couple of years, I tried to pick on certain things that were so similar & were almost a part of every other drama. This thing showcases how our writers have run out of ideas & it also shows how they stick to very similar things in almost every other drama to tell a story. I feel we can have dramas & stories on so many different subjects because the sky’s the limit when it comes to ideas but sadly, our writers & the channels have forgotten what a variety tastes like & they choose to stick to the not-so-marvellous monotony. Let’s go through those aspects that are a part of each & every drama that have made it to our screens in the recent times:
