The dumb people of Bollywood, according to Kangana Ranaut

The dumb people of Bollywood, according to Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut has faced a lot of struggle through her years in Bollywood. It's remarkable to think of how far she's come since she started her career.

Kangana Ranaut has made it big in the industry by sheer talent and hard work
Attaining fame gets you a lot of friends, but there are hardly people who stand by you when you are facing your lows. And who better to know of that than Kangana Ranaut.
She is a star who made it big in the industry, but only after facing troublesome times, despite critical acclaim. After her terrific performances in Queen and Tanu Weds Manu (and then its sequel), she is now among the most sought after actors in B-Town. Offers from all the industry biggies, including projects from award winning directors Raj Kumar Hirani and Vishal Bharadwaj are testimony to the fact.

While speaking to Kangana said that while there are those who get carried away, she is more evolved. She also spoke about those who refused to work with her when she was down and out, and pointed out that they were 'dumb'.
Speaking about the praise that she is getting now, she quipped, "I know that there are people for whom big names matter, but I am not from that school of thought. It doesn't matter to me."
We must say, she is certainly not, as she put it, 'conventional'!

Ranaut has been in the limelight for several years now. Her debut film Gangster created ripples in the industry, and her performance in Fashion won her her first National Award. This year too, the actor picked up a National Award for her performance in Queen. But the 28 year old Himachali girl has had to prove herself time and time again.
She has not shied away from challenging parts, be it a Revolver Rani or a double role in Tanu Weds Manu Returns. She is soon to be seen in Nikhil Advani's rom-com Katti Batti, starring Imran Khan as the male lead where she plays the character of an urban girl who has commitment issues. The National Award winner has come a long way, and considering her consistency in nailing her roles on camera, it seems that she is still ready to dazzle us with more!
