A still from Jai Hind.
It's a pragmatic film with a strong social message that I believe will force the audience to stop, step back and introspect," said Manoj Bajpayee
The film, which released online on August 13, features Manoj and Raveena, who ask viewers to join the social media movement 'Azaadi4Me'. The film is an initiative by a technology driven network of hotels.
Shot in the backdrop of present-day Mumbai, Jai Hind aims to serve as a powerful reminder of what daily life would have been if India had not been an independent nation.
Manoj, who is a critically acclaimed actor, said that the project is close to his heart. "As an artist, to encapsulate such a powerful message in such a short format is both challenging and exciting. It's a pragmatic film with a strong social message that I believe will force the audience to stop, step back and introspect," Manoj said in a statement.
He also enjoyed working with Raveena, with whom he has worked in films like Aks and Shool. (Also Read: Manoj Bajpayee Believes In Healthy Life, Exercises Daily )

Raveena also said that Jai Hind is a "heart-touching and thought-provoking initiative".
"It gives the audience a new perspective on the freedom they enjoy. As a proud Indian, this film serves as a powerful reminder of how lucky we are to be part of an independent and democratic India," said Raveena.
"Working on the set with Manoj and the crew was very exciting. It was truly one of the most cherished experiences of my life," she added
MORE NEWS,
All I can say is I watched the film and cried and loved it! I loved the portrayal of Shahida's family but I've noticed they do portray Pakistan as a very rigid, conservative, and harsh boring place. I love how Indians love their culture and promote it. We have amazing culture here, the Gilgitis, Pashtuns music, clothes, dances, Punjabi culture is so similar to Indian culture to some extent, Sindhi culture, Balochi culture. Why don't our movie makers promote that on such a grand scale? You know I'm so disappointed with the recent films Karachi se Lahore and dekh magar pyaar sey trailers. The Indian style clothing, item songs, there's nothing Pakistani about it. At least Bin Roye tried to make it a bit more of a Pakistani feel (but the production values ruined it)! They could have in Karachi as Lahore show her wearing a burkha in a Pathan area or something comical and breaking stereotypes, rather than shedding off half her clothes for an dance number! Really disappointed. In Pakistan dance numbers look only normal in weddings or you can forced them at festivals and carnivals, however, in India dance is considered life. What's wrong with shalwar kameez? We have amazing designers who make the most beautify shalwar kameez, put them in films. I loved kareena's asian style in Bodyguard and BB and mahira a style in Bin Roye. The only films im going to support are Ho Mann Jahaan and Moor. Im dissappointed with our filmmakers. At first I use to blame the audience but now I see the filmmakers not even trying to change this trend! (Excluding the rare few kudos to you!)
