Advice to lose weight in a healthy and easy way and also to maintain it:
1. Eat everything but in small portions, avoids sodas/sugary drinks, chips/ fries/fried food (once in a while is ok to cheat) limit sweets.
2. Walk daily for 30-45 min daily
3. Drink plenty of water to make your body work efficiently
4, never skip breakfast, the most important meal of the day to kick in your metabolism
5. Snack on nuts/fruits/vegetables in between meals to keep your metabolism running
6. Easy and free exercises at home 5-7 days per week, jump rope 20-30 min, stair climbing couple times daily, vacuuming, moping while sitting
7. Other easy and engaging exercises I.e. power yoga, Zumba, playing sports
8. Never starve yourself, by starving body goes in starvation mode and starts to store fat
9. By Crash diets or by starving, the weight loss will be very temporary and the weight will come back when you start eating again. It will also cause severe nutrition deficiency esp in girls/women and they will lose their hair, the glow on their faces, the skin color will turn dark, will affect the reproductive health, etc
10. Never go below 1200 calories for women and 1500 for men and increase calories as you start to be more active. Never go on no carb or no fat diets. Replace your bad carbs/fat with good carbs and good fats
