Ash’s comebacks have been announced. We don’t know how they will
fare at the BO. But at least; we will see Indian cinema’s most
well-known international face back on screen.
Here’s de-mystifying the halo of Ash and seeing her for the ‘normal girl’ she is; heres why!
- Because Ash is a regular girl; from a simple middle-class home; who made it big
- Because like all of us; she makes mistakes. And then decides to put them behind her and walk on
- Because women have no logic,in who they choose to fall in love with. They just fall and swoon and blush and make a fool of themselves.
- Because Ash has gushed over Salman like a school girl in the past; and thats very normal.
- Because her husband has the most honest eyes in the world; and any woman would've fallen for them.
- Because we all look for a friend in our husbands and not a superstar; and his dreams need not be Bollywood-based.
- Because Ash is the closest to a diva Bollywood knows of; and yet; she showed off her motherhood in Cannes with tonnes of baby fat.
- Because she decided to give motherhood her time and her respect; was in no hurry to look like her pre-motherhood, ‘worlds most beautiful’ self.
- Because she cheers for her husbands ‘rough and tough’ kabaddi team like a delicate China doll; and is just so comfortable doing that.
- Because no one can look like her at Cannes. And she has stood there; thin or fat; happy or sad; and painstakingly built her superstardom.
- Because if dignity- to move on and believe that you deserve better- had another name; it would be Aishwarya.
- Because what is private is private. Period. And she has earned her stardom. And she surprisingly has a very versatile filmography; despite always being known as the worlds most beautiful woman.
- Because she preferred to enjoy her first pregnancy and had no time to retaliate to either UTV or Madhur Bhandarkar. No lawsuits; no discrimination; no comments.
- Because even Hugh Hefner was ready to create a no-nudity version of Playboy; only for her and we know it didn't work out.
- Because every woman should seek the Aishwarya within herself- the belief that she's worth it- and the refusal to settle for anything less than the best.
