Priyanka Chopra is a girl with many talents. She appeared as a
guest on the Anupam Kher show looking beautiful in a monochrome Dior
gown and spoke about her life and tips she picked up from co-stars along
the way. Crediting superstar Akshay Kumar as the one who taught her
about picntuality on set , Pee Cee also paid due credence to veteran
actor Amitabh Bachchan for emphasizing that one has to make oneself
memorable in whatever role one has, no matter how big or small.
After an international upbringing and a close brush with racism at
school in America, things started looking for the leggy lass after she
won the Miss India and the Miss World pageant, saying that most of her
training in the field of acting has been on the job. She has picked up
valuable lessons on sets itself and she considers herself very good at
her job and most of all she is dedicated and hard-working.
In fact, it is news to us that Anurag Basu didnt think she could play Jhilmil in Barfi! PC
said on the show that at first when Anurag Basu came to her house for
the narration he saw her dressed up and decided that it was not a good
idea to cast her in the film as an autistic girl. PC then determined to
prove Basu wrong and researched thoroughly about the role for 5 days
before meeting with Anurag again to convince him! And convince him she
did, beacuse she did a stupendous job of portraying Jhilmil!
